Has anyone been watching the BBC’s documentary series on the impact of the internet on our lives?
It’s fascinating- the latest episode examines the effect of Social Media on how we live our lives, take a look!
Here’s a link to our ‘Prezi’ presentation, enjoy!

Hi SM gang,
Do you think it would be possible to do a screenshot of the Prezi overview, reduce it down and somehow insert it into the top band of our blog oppostite SMiLE?
If anyone can that would be fab. And also I’ve created a Poll but I don’t know how to get it into the post I’ve done so if anyone could help?
Thanks

Hi guys
I have to say was seriously impressed by your prezi work! How easy was it to use as a tool? It looked highly professional, but then that is probably because of the breadth and scope of your sources and information. Your presentation was extremely informative and nice one for navigating the minefield that is the never ending social media!!

Hi Guys,
When I interviewed Sheetal Parmar last week, I asked her how important social media was to the World Have Your Say programme. She said it was absolutely essential. I witnessed this first hand as we searched for potential guests through blogs, constantly tweeted what we were doing, and used facebook to tell everyone to watch the show!
I have put her answer together in a ‘mini-package’ and uploaded it to my youtube channel in case you would like to embed it on your blog. Here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPesUDlIH6I
Cheers,
Rosalie

Thanks Rosalie and Zoe,
I’ll definitely put a link to Sheetal’s interview, from my own experiences on World Have Your Say, I can vouch for the importance of Social Media on the show. I think Jason said in the presentation: “without social media the show could not exist.”
Zoe, Prezi is really very easy to use. You just have to get used to thinking in the free-flowing mindset of the programme. I’d recommend just giving it a go… it’s free with an academic email account.

Great video, Alex! Where in the world do you find these things?! I’m on the look out for a pair of dorky red glasses – GEEKS RULE!
PREZI NEWS FLASH: I’ve dipped my toe into the world of Prezi – Jason and I used it to make our international law presentation. I love it and for those of you who are ‘lucky’ enough to see our presentation, you will too…!!
